Jackson Driver
John Jackson is a native of Scotland and is
well known in the Florida racing community as a driver, owner and sponsor. He began his racing career in 1996 at Desoto Speedway
where he won often and was named the Rookie of the Year in the "Pure Stock Division." Since then he has progressed
through the ranks with many more wins to his credit. In 2006 he made his debut appearance in the ARCA RE/MAX Series at Pocono
Raceway. In 2007 he competed in three ARCA RE/MAX events, including at USA International Speedway where he led several laps
and got his first career top 10 finish.
John’s racecars are prepared at James
Carter Racing. He has support from various associates, including James Carter who is his friend, attorney and occasional
competitor in Super Late Model competition. Now that he has established himself as a legitimate contender, John is looking
forward to competing more often in ARCA and the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series as well as the NASCAR Nationwide Series
with the assistance of additional marketing partners. Born February, 13th, 1964 in Carluke, Scotland. He lived there
during his childhood before moving to South Florida with his immediate family. He is currently involved in several business
ventures, including FIXATIRE which is a commercial tire repair & retail sales facility located in Ellenton, FL.. He and
his wife, Melissa live in Sarasota, Florida with there two daughters, Jessica and Faith.
